Outside research, I enjoy exploring art, film, and music as ways to understand human creativity from different perspectives.

• Film: My watchlist is on Letterboxd.
• Hiking: I love hiking in places such as the Great Wall (Beijing, China), Diamond Head State Monument (Honolulu, Hawaii), Crown Point (Portland, Oregon), Taihang Mountain (Henan, China), and Enshi Grand Canyon (Hubei, China).
• Music: I often listen to David Tao, Utada Hikaru, Erik Satie, and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
• Visual arts: I particularly appreciate the works of Suzanne Valadon, Edward Hopper, Vincent van Gogh, and Caravaggio.
